Q. After I’ve been paid, what will happen to my gold?

A. Once our transaction is complete, your gold or other precious metals will be melted, refined, and recycled. Then they will be used to manufacture new jewelry.

Q. How much of my gold items will equal to an ounce of gold?

A. To equal one ounce of pure gold, it takes 2.400 ounces of 10K, 1.714 ounces of 14K, 1.333 ounces of 18K or 1.091 ounces of 22K gold items.

Q. Should I weigh my gold before I send it?

A. No. OldGold4Cash will accurately weigh your gold on an electronic scale and determine its value.

Q. What does spot price mean?

A. Spot price is the price gold is being traded at for the day.

Q. How will I know when you received my items?

A. Our carrier will give you a tracking number where you can log in and find out the status of your shipment Or you can call their toll free number. In addition, OldGold4Cash will send you and email to inform you that your items were received.

Q. What if some of the items I send are found to be unauthentic?

A. Items that are tested to not contain any of the precious metals have no value. So Oldgold4Cash will return your items via FedEx.

Q. How will I be paid?

A. You can either be paid by company check, eCheck to your PayPal™ account, or by wire transfer into your bank or brokerage account.

Q. What is a "request kit"?

A. The request kit includes all the shipping materials you will need to send in your items to our refinery. It contains a ziplock pouch, a tear- free shipping envelope and a form on which you provide us your payment information.

Q. Is the gold package free?

A. Yes. Also, we pay the cost of shipping and insurance. If you wish to insure your package for additional value, FedEx can handle all requests.

Q. What if I want to send my items to you quickly?

A. If you want to send the gold to us faster, we can have FedEx pick it up for you.

Q. What do you mean by the words "24 Hour Payment"?

A. We mean that as soon as we receive your request kit, the processing and issuing of a check will be completed within 24 hours. You should keep in mind that the request kit will be traveling to us via FedEx, and this could take up to 7 business days or more. It could take around the same time for our payment check to travel back to you.

Q. How much will you pay for my items?

A.The payment you will receive depends upon the weight and purity of your items. Many of our customers have been satisfied with their payments. However, if you are not happy, just return our check and we'll return the items that were sent to us.

Q. What if I'm not happy with the price offered by OldGold4Cash.com and choose not to accept the price?

A. If you chose not to accept the price, we`ll ship back the contents at our cost.

Q. Can I use my own packaging?

A. Yes. If you prefer to not have to wait to receive a request kit from us, you can use your own packaging. Don't forget to include your return information and address. Please call us for more information.

Q. Do you buy items that are broken, incomplete, or out of fashion?

A. As long as your items contain gold, silver or platinum we will buy it from you no matter what their condition.

Q. Will my transaction be reported to the Internal Revenue Service?

A. No. OldGold4Cash has no responsibility to report parties from whom we purchase to the IRS.

Q. What about selling to a local dealer or pawn shop?

A. We recommend that you sell your items to us instead of a local dealer or pawnshop for several reasons. First, since we refine our own metals and don't use any subcontractors or middle-men, we can afford to pay you top dollar for your items. Secondly, the whole transaction is simplified by dealing by phone and mail, which is much more efficient than face-to- face. Third, we do not offer single coins or small orders on this site - our goal here is to offer top dollar on large transactions.

Q. Is the request kit insured if it gets lost?

A. Yes, your request kit is insured while traveling via the U.S. Mail. The maximum value of the insurance is $80 US.

Q. Does OldGold4Cash return my non-precious items?

A. These items will not be returned by OldGold4Cash; however, you may request that these items be returned to you at your expense. In such case, OldGold4Cash will charge a fifteen dollar fee to cover return postage and processing in order to return items not containing precious metals to you. Your items will be sent COD.
